Often a comment or a question will start with ‘We are only having a celebrant led symbolic ceremony’ but………
It’s the ‘only’ bit that gets me every time.

So never say that you are ‘only’ having a symbolic ceremony in Greece. The term is purely how the wedding is described in the industry. Your ceremony will not feel symbolic in any way. It is your wedding, the ceremony to celebrate your marriage, and there is absolutely nothing symbolic about that!
